LEARNING TREE ENROLLMENT FORM — The WAC & Learning Tree School

1. The annual tuition fees are payable in 4 installments – i.e. per quarter and are non-refundable. Invoices for classes are sent out in July*, October, January and April, and these must be paid by the 30th of the following month. (*Invoices sent out in July can be paid within 60 days). Payment is due in advance of a child starting. Children with open invoices will not be placed in the class lists. 2. Enrollment is valid for the whole school year (August 21, 2023 – July 12, 2024). 3. For children not continuing into the next quarter, one month’s notice must be given in writing. Failure to do so will incur half-quarter charges. Withdrawals and cancellations may be subject to administrative charges. 4. The quarter dates are as follows: a. First Quarter: August - October b. Second Quarter: November – January withdrawal deadline 30 September c. Third Quarter: February – April withdrawal deadline 31 December d. Fourth Quarter: May – July withdrawal deadline 31 March 5. Classes are subject to change according to availability and enrollment. Once classes reach the required number of enrollments, admissions will be confirmed via invoice. The school reserves the right to modify tuition upon approval of the WAC Board. Should the class numbers decrease to below the minimum, a change in fees may incur to such a level as to make continuing to run the class more viable. 6. I have submitted an updated medical form. 7. I understand that attendance at WAC preschool classes is not a substitute for attendance at Swiss Kindergarten. 8. I agree to pay as per the fee schedule published on the WAC website and available in print from the WAC office. 9. I have read the Tips and General Information for Parents. 10. I understand we are a cooperative school, and as a parent my involvement is required as part of our school program. 11. I have taken notes of all the dates on the school calendar and am aware that this may differ from some Swiss schools. 12. Continuous Learning Plan: In any event of any future outbreaks like the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic or any extraordinary measure that is beyond our control, the school will create a continuous learning/education plan to ensure that in-class lessons other than the Preschool be moved online. This change will not incur any fee changes and class tuition will not be refunded. The decision to take this action is guided by the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Council. For the Preschool classes, in the event that the classes are suspended in the First half of the Quarter, a reimbursement of not more than 50% of the quarter fees will be given if necessary. Any other issues will be handled on a case to case basis.
